What does Table Master do for a Shopify store?

Table Master is a Shopify app for creating searchable, responsive storefront tables from Shopify products, Google Sheets, Excel, or CSV. Merchants can publish product and variant catalogs, compatibility lookups, nutrition information, timetables, and technical reference data without rebuilding the source as theme HTML. Product tables can include images, titles, current presentment prices, SKUs, variants, metafields, metaobject child fields, and a separate cart control for each variant. Grouped product rows can expand to show up to 20 variants. Search can match partial multi-word terms and selected hidden columns. Smart filters can match the current product page or create cascading selectors. Imported Shopify-managed fields and selected custom data need a manual Sync products action; standard online-store tables check current variant availability and presentment pricing separately. Google Sheets can pull every six hours, but the connection is not real-time or two-way. Public self-service plans include up to 20,000 rows. Higher row limits are available by arrangement.

Which data sources can Table Master use?

Shopify products

Import selected products from the Shopify catalog. Choose one row for each variant, or choose grouped product rows. Grouped rows keep one product in the main table and expand to show its variants. Products with more than 20 variants require the variant-row format.

Shopify product imports can include product and variant metafields. They can also include supported child fields from linked metaobjects. You can select up to 20 synced custom-data columns. The initial import is a snapshot. Use Sync products when you want the latest Shopify-managed values.

Google Sheets

Connect a native Google Sheet and choose all rows and columns or a defined range. An optional setting pulls data every six hours. You can also use Sync now. The connection pulls data from Google Sheets into Table Master. It is not real-time or two-way sync. Read the Google Sheets sync guide.

Excel and CSV

Upload existing Excel or CSV data for price lists, size charts, directories, nutrition information, schedules, technical data, and product comparisons. You can edit the imported table or upload a new file when the source data changes.

How do search and filters help customers find the correct row?

Table Master supports smart partial and multi-word search. For example, a search for app day can match text such as apple a day across columns. You can hide internal values, such as alternate SKUs or part numbers, and make up to 10 hidden columns searchable.

Use custom filters when a customer must choose table values. Up to six filter slots are available. Auto-generated filters can have up to 50 options. Cascading filters update their choices from the other active filters. You can also keep the table hidden until all filters have a selection.

On a product page, a smart primary filter can match the current product SKU, handle, ID, variant ID, product type, or vendor. This lets one shared table show only the rows that apply to the current product.

What limits must a merchant know before installation?

• A grouped product row supports up to 20 variants. Use variant rows for products with more variants.
• Grouped rows have a separate cart control for each variant. There is no one-click Add all action.
• Shopify product import creates a snapshot. Imported Shopify-managed fields and selected custom data do not refresh automatically. Use Sync products to refresh the database. Standard online-store product tables separately check current Shopify variant availability and presentment pricing for rendered rows.
• You can select up to 20 synced metafield or metaobject child-field columns.
• Google Sheets can pull data every six hours. This is not real-time or two-way sync.
• Up to six smart filter slots are available. Auto-generated filter lists have up to 50 options.
• Up to 10 hidden columns can remain searchable.
• Row and column capacity depends on the active Table Master plan. Public self-service plans include up to 20,000 rows, but this is not a hard maximum. Higher row limits are available by arrangement through Activory support.
