What is a Shopify product table with variants?

A Shopify product table with variants gives shoppers one place to compare products, expand variant choices, choose quantities, and add an item to the cart. Table Master can import Shopify products with images, prices, SKUs, and variants. A grouped product uses one main row and can expand to show up to 20 variants. Each variant has its own quantity control or Add to Cart button. This setup is useful for wholesale lists, repeat-order pages, product catalogs, and stores with many size or color choices. It does not add all selected variants to the cart in one click. It also does not supply volume discounts or customer-specific catalogs. Those functions need separate Shopify settings or apps. Use Table Master when shoppers need a compact, searchable ordering table and the store can use a separate cart action for each variant. The table can start from Shopify product data instead of a spreadsheet.

Why do merchants need variant ordering tables?

A Shopify Community merchant asked how to show product variants in a table and let wholesale buyers enter a different quantity for each variant. This is one direct example of the workflow. It is not a measure of total merchant demand.

Long product pages make repeat ordering slow when buyers already know the products that they need. A table reduces page changes and keeps the available choices in one view.

What can Table Master show in each row?

Table Master can create a multi-row catalog from Shopify product data. A table can include:

• Product images, titles, prices, SKUs, and variant options.
• One grouped row for each product, with up to 20 expandable variants.
• A separate quantity control or Add to Cart button for each variant.
• Search, sorting, filters, pagination, and responsive table controls.
• Product availability information for the displayed buying controls.

What are the limits of the ordering workflow?

Table Master does not add several selected variants to the cart with one final button. Each variant uses its own cart action. It also does not create volume discounts, customer-specific pricing, or private customer catalogs. Use Shopify settings or another app for those functions.

The limit of 20 variants applies to one expandable grouped product row. It is not the total database limit. Public self-service plans include up to 20,000 database rows, but this is not a hard maximum. Higher row limits are available by arrangement through Activory support.

Test the finished table with the store theme and cart. Themes can use a cart page, a cart drawer, or custom cart behavior.
